Moves Entertainment. We are a husband and wife team, who have been working
together for approximately ten years.
You will always deal directly with
us, as we do not sub-contract. We will work hand and glove with you
to insure the success and enjoyment of your event. We discuss your
requirements and then commit ourselves to achieving them. We are always on
time so when your guests arrive they will be welcomed by music. We do not
consume alcohol and conduct ourselves professionally at all times.
Our prices are all inclusive with no
hidden charges. For weddings and other certain parties, we provide
complimentary cocktail and supper hour music. During the winter months of
January, February and March we give a twenty percent discount.
Our volume level is constantly
monitored and maintained at a level that encourages both dancing and
socializing to create an enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. We gladly play
all appropriate requests to encourage dancing by all ages and musical
tastes. Our goal is to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable as they
celebrate your occasion with you.
We have two sound systems, one is
1300 watts the other is 800 watts. Both systems have powered subs to deliver
a full and complete sound. We also provide the convenience of a wireless
microphone when required. Our satellite speakers are mounted on six foot
tripods to project sound to the furthest extremities of the room and still
allow for conversation and socializing. We do not needlessly interrupt the
dance floor unnecessarily. except for announcements and speeches.
Our music selection is both extensive
and impressive, with over 10,00 hit songs in our music library. We
constantly upgrade on a monthly basis to stay current with new releases.
We have over 24 effect lights. Our
extensive variety of lighting seems to draw people to the dance floor like a
magnet. Dimming hall lights creates a dance floor. Switching on our lights
creates a "party dance floor". We bring ten to twelve lights to every
function, mounted on crank stands, to generate visual excitement that is
compatible with the music. We do not use strobe or laser lighting,
which some people find annoying. All our lights are sound activated which
means that they have a built in microphone. The microphone picks up the bass
beat of the music, so that in effect the lighting actually dances to the
beat of the music.
